While working at London's multi-faceted Time Out Magazine between 1982 and 2012, I developed a wide range of writing interests beyond the world of film for which I was originally employed. I now write regular consumer tech features and product roundups for T3, TechRadar and Expert Reviews. You can see examples of some of my written work by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

In my freelance capacity, I’m available for most commissions regarding consumer technology products. My specialist subjects are: vacuum cleaners, consumer drones, camping products, BBQs, garden gear, folding bicycles, drums, acoustic travel guitars, portable music-making gear, cameras and .

 

On a completely separate issue, I’m also a member and co-writer in the band Red Box for whom I play drums, guitar, keys, backing vocals, banjo and harmonica.
